Marcegaglia still the leading Italian steel group in terms of turnover
Marcegaglia confirms its position as the leading Italian group in the steel sector in Mediobanca‘s annual ranking “The main Italian companies”, with a turnover of over 5.26 billion in 2018 (compared to 4.98 billion in 2017).
In the general ranking, Marcegaglia is 26th (28th last year): the ranking includes 3452 firms (1059 groups and 2393 companies) operating in industry, commerce, finance, leasing, factoring, banking and insurance sectors.
The EBIT of 190.5 million euro further increased compared to 2017 (185.2 million euro).
